Earthwork & Rough Grading

What’s happening right now

Heavy equipment is reshaping the land. Large piles of dirt are being moved, cut, and compacted so the site matches the exact elevations called for in the engineering plans. This creates a solid, properly drained base before any foundations are poured.

You’ll see excavators, loaders, and compactors working across the pad. The temporary fencing is up, and the site is fully active.

Why this phase matters

Everything that comes later: foundations, utilities, parking, and buildings depends on getting the ground right. If the soil isn’t properly graded and compacted now, problems show up later as settling, drainage issues, or costly rework. This is the foundation under the foundation.

What’s next

Once rough grading is complete, the crew will move into fine grading, utility trenching, and then foundation work.

We’re thankful for the progress and for everyone who’s been praying for and supporting this project. More updates (and photos) coming soon as the site continues to take shape.
